How long can you hide your ugly

The question always on my mind

Whenever I find myself getting close

"How long can you hide your ugly?" 

It never lasts nearly as long as I'd wish.

I let my guard down and show my cards 

And always wish I hadn't. 

Mostly because no one came seeking. 

I'm like a kid playing hide and seek

And everyone just left me to stay hidden. 

You get to the point where you don't even care anymore. 

Take me as I am or get out of my life.
