Little Me

Crowded into the room

the air is filled with static;

I almost forget

to seclude myself from the rest,

being abnormal.

My heart-felt plea to fit in

is like a heavy anchor

weighing down my heart

to the bottom of the

deepest,

darkest,

loneliest canyon.

And I drive myself

past my limits [of who I am]

to become you,

a diamond, a pearl.

How can I fit all of you in little me?

Like a camel sliding through

the eye of a needle;

[an ocean] draining through

a single pipe.
