Unfeeling
I have recently started to wonder if some people live in some kind of alternate reality where things make sense, an upside-down world of a sort. Because somewhere maybe they make sense, but here they absolutely don't.
Not everything, just their feelings. Feelings are an alternate reality in a way, aren't they? Because they're not based on anything realistic. They're about as accurate as trying to use a measuring stick to define the distance between invisible lines. There is no here or there, not a defineable one atleast. Feelings are irrational and completely insane sometimes, which is probably why most women seem crazy. Sometimes all we have is feelings surging through us, like our blood, making us say things or think things that may not be logical.
This is why you should always try to distance yourself from the moment to try to discern if what you're feeling is truth, or is a momentous reaction completely based on irrationality. You can't make any good decisions based on "feelings".
Like deciding to marry someone because they make you "feel" good. This will not last, neither will any other feeling. They come and go depending on everything, because everything can affect them. Sometimes it can be something as minor as "waking up on the wrong side of the bed" haha, to quote a phrase. Something amiss in your little atmosphere.
So, is it fair to treat people with respect only according to how we "feel" about them? Nope. Because feelings are definitely deceptive. You may feel however you wish, but action requires thought, not feeling. You can't blame your actions on how you feel, taking action means you mentally made a decision to do something. Two different areas of the brain.
I guess my point is that no matter if you like somebody or not, how you feel about a situation, to make good decisions they should be based on truth.... not seen through colored glasses rose or otherwise. Feelings can be valuable, but not if they aren't put in perspective. They aren't everything, just a piece of the process.
