Goals: Future

So, I've been thinking for years about how to be realistic with these kinds of goals and it doesn't get any easier. Because I'd "like" be done with some of these alot quicker than I think I can be done with them, naturally.

Goals: This Year

1. Make a plan for financial independence, stick to it

2. Fix up and sell/trade Eric's car for a "family friendly" vehicle (anything that can fit more than one car seat/regular sized person in the back seat)

3. Create a Nest Egg/Emergency fund

4. Start a real savings account for Ryley

5. Get Medical/Dental/Vision insurance for our family, as well as life insurance for us all

6. Have garage sales and utilize craigslist to downsize junk and declutter our lifestyle!

Goals: In Five Years

1. Be completely debt free

2. Have a full emergency fund (Atleast 6 months of bills)

3. Start a House fund

4. Be independent on one salary (Hoping Eric has a good promotion by now and is making enough money for me to stay home)

5. Have started Ryley on a homeschooling routine

6. Start Ryley's College Fund and Our Retirement fund! (Seems so far off, but it approaches quickly!)

7. Have a total of 3 children? Or considering our third.

Goals: By Ten Years

1. Completed Emergency fund + Savings Account

2. Own a home

3. Be done with having kids, with maybe 4?

4. Buy a new car, preferrably a Journey with 7 seats! And a truck for Eric

5. BE HAPPY AND ENJOY OUR LIVES!

I'm sure there are more for these lists, but these are the main ones.
